Responsibilities & duties:• Review purchase requisitions received to ensure availability of budget and being fully approved according to the company’s manual of authorities.• Preparing and issuing the tender documents, receiving the offers, comparing prices and issuing the purchase orders.• Following up the delivery and ensure final receipt/acceptance of materials at site.• Participate in the periodical evaluation of suppliers and update the vendors list.• Receive and process the suppliers' invoices.• Coordinating for Re-Exporting, Shipping, transporting material via Sea, Air and Road.• Searching new and good suppliers & maintaining relationship with suppliers.• Coordinate with Customs & Logistics team to ensure all documents and pprovals required or custom clearance are available prior shipment’s arrival. • Carry out negotiations and necessary benchmarking “Market survey” in case of approaching soul vendor.• Prepare the purchasing strategies for establishing sales agreements& field trial process for the Chemical items.• Ensure continuous vendor performance and participate in vendor audits when required.• Ensure reliable and efficient flow of relevant information between vendors and the company.• Deep experience in Chemical Commodities using (Field trials or Lab tests). • Creative Sourcing and carry out negotiations utilizing Team Approach to problem solving and setting goals for improvement.• Supervising junior Buyers and keeping an eye on their performance to ensure following procurement procedure.• Develop junior Buyers performance to achieve the desired KPIs.
