Tara takes organization to the next level of excellence. She is very detailed orientated and is one of the most professional employees I have had the pleasure of working with. She has great customer service and communication skills. She took over all in park marketing and supervised all sales interns. Supervised seasonal staff on how to provide the best customer service in the amusement industry. She gets my highest recommendation.

Tara would be an asset to any marketing event or function. She is extremely detail orientated, creative and out-going. I’ve worked with Tara on several events and she always brings a personal touch to every aspect of a function, no detail is overlooked and she is always checking over everything to keep the event moving and making sure everyone is having a good time. Along with all the events I worked with her on at Bridgewater Falls, Tara was planning events and growing her own non-profit foundation- The Stroud Foundation, a foundation dedicated to expanding research for Cancer of Unknown Primary. Tara’s work with this foundation is bringing knowledge and research to a cancer that is often unheard of, encouraging those who have this illness and inspiring those who have lost someone to it. Tara is a hard working, creative and skilled event planner. Once Tara is involved with an event she puts all of her effort into the event and into making it the most successful event she can.

Each year in the United States, several thousand people are diagnosed with metastatic cancer whose primary cancer site is not known. When the primary site cannot be identified, this disease may be called Cancer of Unknown Primary (CUP). The Stroud Foundation was established in honor of Lee Ann Stroud, who passed away from Cancer of Unknown Primary (CUP) in August 2008, at the age of 56. During her eight month battle, Lee Ann exemplified what it meant to be a giving person- even while facing the most challenging of circumstances. Her family decided to honor Lee Ann’s “pay-it-forward” attitude by helping to put an end to CUP, so that cancer patients and doctors alike can work toward an accurate diagnosis and treatment. Our mission is to provide information and support to those affected by CUP, as well as contribute to the eradication of CUP through research and awareness. The Stroud Foundation hosts various fundraising events to support our mission.
