  Tara Sohlman’s practice focuses primarily on construction law and other litigation matters. Her work involves representing clients in construction defect litigation, contract disputes, commercial litigation, products liability, insurance coverage, and premises liability. Tara’s practice also focuses on advising her clients in contract preparation and negotiation, employment law matters, addressing insurance coverage and risks, liens, and other business issues and disputes. Tara has handled and/or participated in numerous jury trials, arbitrations and bench trials from inception through appeal. Her experience includes serving as lead counsel in multi-party construction defect litigation, including cases involving damages of over $20 million and more than 25 parties. She has also assessed and addressed insurance policy issues relating to coverage of the damage, a carrier’s right of recovery, and defense and indemnity obligations. She works to achieve great results in an efficient manner for her clients. In addition to her litigation practice, Tara works with her clients to protect them in business and personal dealings through contracts, negotiations, improving their business practices, protecting them against future risks, assessing their insurance coverage, and more. She utilizes her knowledge and experience to help her clients achieve their goals and protect them against potential future liability. Her clients have included design professionals, home builders, general contractors, developers, subcontractors, insurance companies, manufacturing entities, and other businesses.
