Pat Quinlan
I approached Tara with a request to develop an internet campaign to increase the profile of Celtic Conservation Groups via the WWW. She approached the project in a very professional manner and gathered the team around her to develop their campaign. I was at all times kept informed of its pre campaign plan perpetrations, the campaign itself to the final detailed report. I was most impressed the high level of integrity, initiative and team effort displayed by Tara. I have no hesitation in recommending her for any appointment she is qualified to hold. Pat Quinlan

I completed a 10 month placement with Riteweigh as part of my MSc in Marketing Practice. I was responsible for launching the new SoloWeigh, a driver operated weighbridge kiosk, into the Irish market. This system allows for the efificient operation of weighbridges for bulk handling industries including dairy/agri, waste management, forestry, quarrying and Shipping. I implemented a direct marketing mail campaign to devliver marketing collateral to targeted companies operating within these industries. I managed the design, content and launch of Riteweigh's new Irish website and am responsible for content management news feeds and case studies.

Google Adwords Consultant
-
Mar 2012 - Mar 2012
I worked as part of a team to implement a Google AdWords campaign for The Celtic Conservation Group (CCG). CCG offer customers the opportunity to "own a piece of Ireland" by purchasing a square yard of land that is conserved for the use of future generations at Kilmovee, Co. Mayo. Customers also receive a certificate of ownership with the GPS co-ordinates of their square yard plot. They also offer customers a book full of Irish history. The target market for the Adwords campaign were the Irish diaspora in America. We ran the campaign one week prior to St. Patrick's Day 2012 and ran for three consecutive weeks with a budget of €200. We achieved the objectives of the campaign which resulted in an increase in traffic to the website resulting in a small number of subsequent sales.

Feb 2012 - Feb 2012
I worked as Marketing Consultant for H&D Security to help develop their marketing plan for 2012. The founders of this organisation were taking part in National University College Galway (NUIG) Student Enterprise Awards and reached the quarter finals. As a requirement, they needed to develop and create a realistic marketing communications plan for the business for one year. As a team of four, I provided my marketing skills and experience to help the organisation to develop a successful marketing plan for their product, an innovative security system in the home, operated by a smartphone application.
