  After moving house, I decided that it was time for a new challenge. A job arose at Data HQ for an Account Manager position and having worked in the Data Marketing industry for years, this was simply an opportunity I had to take! Every day is a new challenge and I really enjoy having the independence of managing my own clients and work. I like to take the time to understand what my clients need and offer guidance and advice for successful campaigns. This can be providing them with my industry knowledge to assist with their criteria to run their own campaigns or managing them in-house. I enjoy managing broadcasts in-house due to having a deeper involvement in the campaign from checking HTML’s, proofing campaigns and liaising with clients on the project.

  After my wonderful year off living out of a backpack, I was back in the UK and started something completely new working at Colchester Hospital within the Bowel Cancer Screening Team. Here, I supported the Nurses in all administrative aspects and running of the BCSP at East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust, working across Colchester Hospital, Ipswich Hospital and Mid Essex Hospital Trust.   I joined DBS Data Marketing in September 2014, my first full time job out of college. I had been working in my local pub as a barmaid and me (and my dad!) thought it was time to get a job in the big wide world where I could progress and gain experience in a different industry. I worked here as a Sales Support Administrator where I assisted the Sales team with managing their accounts. I also managed the set up and deployment of email campaigns for clients. This enhanced my skill set as I was able to fix HTML code and oversee multiple campaigns at once. I absolutely loved working here but after 4 years I decided to take a spontaneous year out to go travelling!
