A research intern under the BioEngineering department of the Stanford Institutes of Medicine Summer Research Program (SIMR), a competitive summer medical research internship. Hands-on research and engineering were used to solve a prompt and create a biomedical device that detects heart attacks. As an AMGEN grant recipient, our device was presented at a scientific poster session. Following the program, our research paper was published in the National High School Journal of Science.
