I assisted them in carrying out our global and regional campaigns to increase demand generation, channel and sales enablement and awareness of Sophos for customers, prospects and partners. I worked alongside the UKI field marketing team. I assisted them in carrying out our global and regional campaigns to increase demand generation, channel and sales enablement and awareness of Sophos for customers, prospects and partners. I supported events from the planning and delivery and post-event work of many events such as the annual Sophos partner roadshow and industry trade shows such as IP EXPO London, IP EXPO Manchester and Infosec Europe. For all three of these trade shows i owned the pre and post marketing. For IP EXPO Manchester I owned the pre marketing and managed to have the highest amount of pre-registered guests turn up t the event, allowing Sophos to win the IP EXPO 'Marketer of the Year' award. I presented the marketing top three in the UKI monthly sales meeting to update the sales and marketing teams on our recent activities. I also attended all the UKI marketing meetings, which involved assessing our metrics on a fortnightly basis. I worked directly with suppliers and printers to source branded merchandise for the company. It was critical that I always looked for a competitive rate and this often meant that I needed to negotiate to ensure the best value for Sophos. On a monthly basis I worked alongside the social media and PR teams. I decided to do this to allow myself to experience the different sides of marketing that may interest me.
