Bio
It's rare to come across someone as authentic, hardworking, and driven as Tara. During the time we worked together, it was clear that HR, People, and Culture aren't just Tara's profession but also her passion. Tara and I worked together on the People Operations Team at Feathr and collaborated on all HR functions from recruiting, to employee relations, to benefits and more. Whenever I was particularly stumped on something, I knew that I could always bring it to Tara and hear some creative solutions that balanced the needs of the company and the best interests of our people. Although I've moved on from Feathr, I still sometimes think "What would Tara do" when difficult situations arise.
Tara and I have known each other for 6 years and have collaborated on a number of projects over the years. Tara has always impressed me with her thoughtful organizational skills and her ability to navigate stressful situations gracefully, but remain transparent with those involved. She is also incredibly skilled in her role as a supervisor and colleague. She offers support, structure, feedback, and care with balance, and is makes herself available to those on her team to explore growth professionally.
