I had the pleasure of getting to know Tara through her yoga and baby yoga classes about 9 years ago and she was the one who inspired me and my family to try paddleboarding in 2019. We are passionate yogis and paddlers ever since! Through attending Tara's classes and getting involved in local initiatives she was driving, I had the pleasure of witnessing firsthand her dedication to supporting our local community and the environment. Tara is an invaluable asset to the Maidenhead community, thanks to her unwavering passion for organizing events that bring people together and make a positive impact on the local area. Tara's enthusiasm for community engagement is evident in her involvement with projects such as the Litter Floatilla and her tireless efforts to fundraise for local charities. Most recently, Tara has joined forces with "Aquapaddles Blue Space", a fantastic initiative that aims to make paddleboarding accessible to those who may be experiencing financial constraints or trauma (https://aquapaddle.org/aquapaddle-bluespace). As the weather warms up, Tara is excited to work with two distinct groups. The first group consists of individuals who may feel they lack the energy for paddleboarding due to challenges such as chemotherapy, bereavement, or trauma. Tara's approach to this group involves slow, mindful paddling, allowing participants to relax, share, and heal. The second group focuses on Ukrainian families, particularly women, and their children, providing them with a fun and engaging outlet to enjoy adult recreation and family activities. Tara's collaboration with Aquapaddle has the potential to introduce many new people to the healing and feel-good aspects of being on the water. I am confident that Tara will continue to make a significant difference in the lives of those she encounters through her genuine passion for community support and environmental stewardship. If you have the opportunity to work with or support Tara, I wholeheartedly recommend doing so.

Excellent Paddleboard company which allowed me to develop/create many skills whilst I worked there for 2 years. It was an amazing experience and I really enjoyed my time. I would highly recommend for anyone!

An amazing coach and all-round fabulous person! I have had paddleboarding lessons with Tara for a couple of years now which has been such a great journey and all round good fun. We are now at the point where she teaches my son, several of my family and even more of my friends (including my older sister who is water-shy and cant swim). Diligent, thoughtful and clear in instruction, I would wholeheartedly recommend and look forward to the warmer weather to get back on the water!
