  I fill a variety of roles in the administrative and OTAC (training) programs. As part of this I have worked on our website redesign and implemented event management software. I manage training record-keeping, attendance, and promotion on our website, newsletters, and social media. I also provide tech support for trainings (including providing slideshow support for trainers as needed) and serve as primary point of contact for trainees and external trainers. I have also worked on a number of special projects related to advocacy. I write public testimony to the Oregon state legislature in collaboration with our executive director and public policy committee, monitor key legislation, and build relationships with self-advocates and other advocacy organizations. I've worked with internal and external partners to plan, organize, and run conventions and summits, and recruited and evaluated potential speakers. Show less
