I had the privilege to work with Tara and the Binding Site team when I was the Technical Support Manager at Trinity Biotech. During this time, Tara was a key contact for complaint and compliance issues with Trinity Biotech products. Tara has a sincere and linear customer focus approach, and worked well with my team to identify and resolve potential product issues. She was direct, informative, and open to our company's suggestions / recommendations. And, excellent with hardware issues that we suggested to the Binding Site team. If Trinity ever had a question on results or instruments, my first contact was Tara, to clarify, and provide support for our assays, and answer questions on their diagnostic instruments. I would recommend Tara for all customer service and tech support roles. She has the most important trait that any manager should look for - adaptability.

Tara's dedication to helping customers resolve their issues is second to none. She will go above and beyond; be it reaching out to the dev team regarding possible bugs or identifying issues with the hardware in vehicle, Platform Science is lucky to have her. She excels in documenting any new solutions for the team, thus ensuring that not only she, but the team and the company as a whole, are positioned for success.

The Platform Science solution is comprised of a Connected Vehicle Device (CVD) for engine data, a web portal for fleet management, and mobile Android devices for fleet drivers. At Platform Science our team helps fleet mechanics and installers troubleshoot issues during installation of the Connected Vehicle Device in a truck, including diagnosing hardware, software and cable installation issues. We run diagnostics on truck data and equipment and ensure the truck's wireless connection is ready to connect to a driver's tablet. We also help driver's who experience loss of tablet connectivity while using the ELD solution on the Platform Science tablet as well as help maintain device health by performing proactive software and firmware updates. SOZO is a noninvasive BIS (bioimpedance spectroscopy) device that gives healthcare professionals a precise snapshot of fluid status and tissue composition in less than 30 seconds. At Impedimed, I worked closely with the Sales team to secure and complete all perquisite network security documents, as well as collaborated to ensure site requirements were met for the physical installation of the SOZO device. I also partnered with Healthcare IT professionals to install and configure the SOZO patient data hub on hospital networks. -------- Awards: Leading the Way Spot Award: October 2017 Leading the Way Spot Award: December 2017 Show less

Alere operated three business units focused on cardiometabolic, infectious disease, and toxicology testing. The company manufactured and provided technical support for the rapid point-of-care diagnostic tests they provided to healthcare professionals and patients worldwide. At Alere, I supported all 3 business units, fielding calls from clinicians needing to troubleshoot assays or instrumentation that were not performing within specification.. My job was to help diagnose errors and correct them so that clinical results could be validated and released. Show less

The Binding Site manufactures and provides specialty immunodiagnostic assays to clinicians and laboratory professionals worldwide. Our department provided field and telephone technical support for ELISA instrumentation and assays as well as a host of manually performed ELISA assays. Clinicians at US hospitals and labs relied on how to diagnose and resolve the source of errors in assay programming and/or clinician laboratory technique. We often traveled to customer sites to install Binding Site instrumentation, program assay parameters and provide education and training to clincians. Show less

CLINIQA Corporation, a leader in clinical diagnostics, manufactures in-vitro diagnostic products for clinical laboratory testing. While at Cliniqa, I was very instrumental in helping the facility attain ISO and cGMP certification, spearheading and implementing a company-wide equipment maintenance and calibration program. My duties included testing all manufactured controls and calibrators to ensure they met performance specifications. I also assisted with data compilation and assignment of control and calibrator values for product inserts Show less

Accumetrics manufactured the Ultegra System, a point of care device that allowed physician's a rapid and proven solution to assess a patient’s response to antiplatelet medications such as aspirin, clopidogrel, prasugel and GP IIb/IIIa inhibitors. While at Accumetrics, I enjoyed organizing and directing an equipment preventive maintenance, which included qualifying and scheduling outside vendors to perform on-site calibration and preventive maintenance. I reviewed Quality documentation for raw materials, reagents and in-process product. My key achievement was setting up a multi-point testing station and cross-training staff, so that we could ramp up the number of release tests that we performed each hour, helping to get finished product into customer hands sooner. Scantibodies Laboratory manufactures and purifies monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies, heterophilic blocking reagents, controls and sera. At the time, Carter Wallace contracted Scantibodies Laboratory to produce its One Step Pregnancy and Ovulation devices. We tested all phases of the Carter Wallace product line. Our team ran a clinical style laboratory, where we performed a host of manual and automated immunoassays to test and qualify raw materials and finished products. I was responsible for monitoring the temperature and environmental controls throughout the company, including performing microbial screening to test for product contamination. Show less
