Uhde India Limited is a dynamic and progressive Indian EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) company committed to providing the entire range of services involved in the conceptualisation, design, construction and commissioning of plants for the Chemical, Petrochemical, Fertiliser, Refinery, Metallurgical and Pharmaceutical industries in India and abroad. I worked in this organisation. Flagship in the global network of subsidiaries of it's parent company Uhde GmbH of Germany (a segment company of the Technologies Division of ThyssenKrupp AG at present but before it was under flagship of Hoechest AG.), it has carefully converted business opportunities to carve a niche for it as a premier EPC-LSTK and EPCM (Engineering, Procurement & Construction Management) company in India. Project-driven, it operates from Mumbai and Pune with a workforce of over 1,000 trained technical experts and specialists now, who account for it's annual engineering capacity of 1.5 million manhours. At Uhde India, it can track record of 500 plus contracts, association with leading Chemical majors, unique working methods, flexibility in handling LSTK (Lumpsum Turnkey) and EPCM (Cost plus fee) assignments involving grass root plants and revamps, ISO 9001:2008 accreditation, client-conscious approach and access to internationally-renowned Licensors & Contractors, make us the complete EPC partner for a wide spectrum of services over a variety of industries. I should say,I was well versed in this organization and contributed as a learning engineer at first when I joined in Aug1987 and grown to become even a world renowned expert in my field.(My name is included in TB-10-32 of Hoechest- I heard) Show less

I remember my old days,I was a BE (E E) (our HOD was Dr.Sankar Sen-who taught me power plant) from one of the best in India. but not instrumentation knowledge at all.But I was adept to handle Transistors and IC. One of my supervisor(a technician type with matriculation and pr-university in science back ground)was given the job for imparting training to us. if see the movie "OFFICER AND GENTLEMAN".you may understand what I mean. Any way,I went to "Fox Mas" and further got trained for how to design and configure small, medium, and big,and biggest power plants.Trainer and mentor Dr.Charles Badavas. And I collected also whole foxboro application notes( kindly bestowed on me by gregory(Dr.Greg sinskey-we call him Einstein of Instrumentation) ranging from pressure gauge Bordon manufacturing to Foxboro I/A (at lab stage). This is the beginning - and at BELLS I learned and done My Job.with best effort, and built my career.as satisfying and through and through. Many small and big projects,in eastern India, and even for some time we took over Bangalore and made it the first electronic control system start up.if you care for the history of Instrumentation.
