-Developed Pre-Equilibrium Digital (PED) Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) platform to perform tests and analyze COVID-19 patient serum samples to reveal important cytokine drivers for early identification of cytokine storm and virus treatment, saving the lives of all four intensive care unit patients that were tested -Designed, built, and programmed a system to perform PED ELISA autonomously using ARDUINO for translation into hospitals as a screening measurement tool for COVID-19 patients -Refined microfluidic channel design in KLayout to maximize sample throughput of PED ELISA devices created using polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) as the mold material for soft lithography -Led, researched, and developed Mouse PED ELISA platform, a point of care diagnosis for severity of a patient’s illness due to acute onset of sepsis, in collaboration with UofM Department of Surgery Show less
