  For breast cancer patients: The Pink Ribbon Recovery Program is designed to facilitate recovery from breast cancer surgery. These surgeries include lumpectomy, mastectomy, and breast cancer reconstructive surgeries; including TRAM flap, LAT flap, and implant reconstruction. This program also reduces the risk of lymphedema. The Pink Ribbon Recovery Program works in conjunction with your doctor's recommendations for an exercise program. You may also use this program in conjunction with, or as a follow-up to any prescribed physical therapy. Certification Courses: The goal of this interactive two day course is to provide the participants with a knowledge base that is essential to the successful evaluation of the breast cancer survivor, from diagnosis to treatment, recovery, prevention of lymphedema and proper exercise guidelines and protocols. This course is open to physical therapists,occupational therapists, Pilates instructors, personal trainers,lymphedema treatment specialists, and nurses.
