I had the privilege to be in two of professor Tanya classes at SDSU the fundamental of entrepreneur and human resources. Tanya have always made her classes very intersected as she based the materials on true life events. She was always very well prepared and up to date with her materials. She truly cares about her student, and always try to mentor them. Her classes are very engaging which made night classes are worth to attend. Professor Tanay is an assist to SDSU.

I had the privilege to be a student in Tanya Hertz’s human resources class and she is one of the best lecturers I’ve had. She not only up to date with her material, but she also knows how to teach it well. Her lectures were very well structured. She is extremely accomplished in her field and tries to relate the topics that are being taught to her personal experience and that helps students understand the subject better. Professor Hertz wants the best for her students and does everything in her power to help them succeed. I cannot recommend her more highly.

Founded this successful business, evaluating the business model using the lean startup principles, and served as the Broker of Record for up to 30 real estate agents, and a full-time staff of four. Established a human resources infrastructure, creating a knowledgeable, skilled, motivated workforce of licensed real property and mortgage agents, brokers, and appraisers. Managed and operated a brick-and-mortar real estate office for several years and aided in the transition to virtual operations as demand shifted. Created and maintained a repository of processes and procedures, as well as real estate law, local economies, fair housing laws, types of available mortgages, financing options, and government programs. I also wrote the digital and hardcopies of the operations manual, employee relations manual, marketing and branding guidelines, the code of conduct/ethics, and all of the content for the website and digital media marketing. Developed teams, wrote training manual, delivered individual and group training, conducted performance evaluations, provided one-on-one coaching, and created and maintained a mentorship program. Led a team of 5-10 Realtors who were consistently ranked in the top 10% of sales worldwide within the corporation. Oversaw the team as they acted as intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers, generally representing one or the other. This sales team I created at Coldwell Banker was the catalyst to create my own brokerage, Omni California Real Estate. Which I own to this day. Individually I advised over 40 clients per year on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements and related matters. Promoted sales of properties through advertisements, open houses, and participation in multiple listing services and prepared documents such as representation contracts, purchase agreements, closing statements, deeds and leases. I also conferred with escrow companies, lenders, home inspectors, and pest control operators to ensure that terms and conditions of purchase agreements were met before closing dates. Show less
