Main responsibilities are Integration of hardware stacks to the vehicles, designing wiring harnesses, designing and prototyping Actuation hardware then implementation after testing. Designing and working with perception team to integrate all perception hardware including cameras and radar in a manufacturable way. Designing and prototyping all mechanical systems then reviewing CMF of entire truck and resolving all outstanding issues. Debugging both AV systems and truck systems and integrating them together safely without harming the ECU of the vehicles. Responsible for calibration of all hardware both on perception stack and hardware stack. Developed Order of operations and Standardized workflow. Cut down build times of trucks from 2 weeks to 3 days with only 2 build technicians. Used solidworks to develop all Designs for truck hardware integration. Worked with vendors to get discounts on even small run parts. Wrote all FMEA's for all hardware stacks. Acquired and implemented all PLM software and Started BOM from scratch and was responsible for all revisions. Implemented engineering change orders and requests. Had the highest output shift numbers of any team with less fallout than other teams. Trained and tested all new and incoming personal and placed them appropriately. Built up prototypes and fixtures for on site engineers. Wrote all work instructions and quality control documentation. Worked in harsh conditions and long hours with no issues. Repaired Bodies for other areas when not working on my line. Followed and enforced lock out tag out procedures.
