Tanya has exceptional design skills as well as outstanding marketing skills which enables her to really design for the purpose of communicating and achieving the goals of a campaign or communication device. My role can be quite varied. I work with a great team of talented individuals who all contribute to the business and help to make my job a lot easier. I oversee the general day to day of business operations including IT, Administration and HR within the head office based here in Sydney. Part of this project required us to rethink the tone of voice by developing a new system based on our brand values.Website overhaul (2013) - Project management and creative directionAs part of the refresh above, I oversaw the strategy and development of our new website working with our external development team and internal design team. My main role was to ensure it was on brand and that the project progressed to a point of completion.Implementation of email management (2013) - Project management and creative directionImplemented Mailchimp as our new email management system. Involved integrating this with Filemaker in 3 countries and developing a number of templates for our communication needs.

In my role as Head of Teaching (Australia) I managed staff across 3 campuses in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. My main focus was to ensure that everything we did met our objective as an education provider. On top of this I managed:– The overall direction of the Certificate IV in Graphic Design course across 3 cities.– The updates to course content: including timetables, day plans, briefs, content, lectures, handouts and technical demonstrations.– The teaching staff: HR and training/development. – Industry relationships: meeting regularly with industry representatives to evaluate our relevance.– Quality control: ensuring that classes were meeting a standard inline with our accreditation as well as the industry. This involved performing regular portfolio reviews.– Facilitate college meetings and training days (x3 per year)– Regularly meet with overseas Heads of Teaching to ensure consistency of the brand and the course.
