      I started NU when I left school and my first job was a Copy Typist. I very quickly needed a more challenging focus and moved into the Pensions Department. I worked within Pensions for many years, achieving promotions and finally a move to the investment and fund management of the pensions funds. I moved to London and became a Team Leader in 1998, this role was the formal beginning of my change management journey. I saved a lot of time and money for the operational areas by implementing efficient working practices and supporting the development of a trading system. I took voluntary redundancy in 2001 in order to find new challenges in a role closer to home.
