Manage the programmatic development of The American College of Surgeons Bariatric Accreditation Program, including the development of policies and procedures. Manage a portfolio of hospitals (approximately 75-100 centers at a time) through all steps of the accreditation process, from initial application to full accreditation. Manage the review process of all application materials to ensure eligibility and compliance with accreditation standards, and any applicable federal regulations prior to onsite review. Manage the marketing of the program and respond to inquiries. Participate in outreach activities (conferences, webinars and performance improvement workshops) geared toward recruiting potential bariatric centers. Prepare, negotiate, and review contracts with vendors and participating hospitals using Novatus Contract Management Software. Troubleshoot and resolve issues for web portal users. Review data and analyze trends for recommendation of process improvement projects. Monitor operational progress and implement programmatic changes that involve the Aptify Association Management Software system with continual training of all users. Provide pre-application consultation to hospital administration and program staff at prospective applicant centers regarding program requirements, verification standards, and application process. Acts as a liaison between program leadership, committees, and site surveyors to relay any changes in policy, verification standards, or verification practices. Support other staff with special projects as well as work independently on assigned projects. Provide support to program committees.
