  The Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg (DSJ) is a German international school in Johannesburg, South Africa. Summary of duties (but not limited to the below): Capturing & verifying all creditors/AP invoices. Creditor account reconciliations. Correct allocation & maintenance of fixed assets & fixed asset register via fixed asset control account. Ensuring the processing of cashbook at least three times per week in conjunction with Debtors Controller. Ensuring the processing of petty cash on an ongoing basis. Month-end processes - bank reconciliations (10 accounts both local and foreign); journals; depreciation; balancing/recon General Ledger accounts; month-end closing etc. Efficiently capture data & reconcile all matters relating to creditors, cashbooks, petty cash etc. Assist Debtors Controller with capturing & reconciliation of physical cash received. Preparation of documents & supporting documents for the payment process (AP and ad hoc). Ensuring all audit procedures are followed e.g. authorization of purchase orders. Loading of suppliers on the online banking system. Loading of all ad hoc/supplier payments on the online banking system. Making payments timeously. Assist the Debtors Controller with credit checks. Ensure that ordering & purchasing procedures are followed & aligned policy. Work closely with auditors during the annual audit.
