I have worked with Tanya for about 3.5 years. She is an excellent project manager. Working for me she was in charge of organising international trainings with participants and guest speakers from across Europe, symposia at various international congresses, organising our booth staff and materials at large congresses, all our international grants (including all compliance paperwork and interactions with the lawyers). She was also responsable for handling the budget of all these projects. Tanya is someone that needs a good briefing of what your vision and targets for your projects are and once she has those, she goes! She works hard and independently, notices issues before anyone else and has them solved immediately. She keeps you informed of the overall progress of her projects and has details ready if you ask for them. She checks and doublechecks to ensure things will go smoothly and never gives up chasing people to give their information/ agreement when she needs it to proceed. And in the rare moments that something unforeseen happens ( eg speaker flight cancelled) ,she always comes with a solution. She is a good team player. English is her mothertongue and she is fluent in Dutch. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her. If I would have had the headcount, I would have loved to take her with me to my new company. I can highly recommend her! If you talk to her be aware she is more modest about her accomplishments than she should be.

      In 2013 we started a foundation that organizes an annual international Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Tournament in Flevoland. Together with 5 other board members we organize this next to our daytime profession. It was a huge success where we each have different expertise and strengths that we bring to the table, and together we form a great team.
