I worked with Tanya at Fire and Emergency while they were looking after the delivery of the ICT Portfolio Delivery Team. I was always amazed at how knowledgeable they were about our business process and ICT systems. Tanya expertly managed the delivery of the ICT Portfolio of projects, ran the Portfolio Management Office, enabled Digital transformation through Digital Strategy, and chaired critical governance programmes to make sure they stayed within budget and timelines while realising the stated benefits. As a Senior ICT leader, Tanya guided the delivery teams to navigate the complex investment stage gates and achieve successful outcomes.

I was at Fire and Emergency New Zealand when Tanya first started there and to say that things were a little chaotic is a total understatement. In Tanya's time with the organisation she has 'sorted' the ICT team out by implementing structure and process to manage the team's workload resulting in the successful completion of a large number of projects in an ordered and logical way. These processes will continue to support the team's workload now and into the future . On a personal note, Tanya has been extremely caring and supportive of me when I was dealing with a serious health issue. Together we developed a way for me to work that would take into account a wide regimen of treatments as well as making sure I had time to recover, whilst at the same time continue my employment with Fire and Emergency. For this I will be forever grateful. I wholeheartedly recommend Tanya for any role she puts herself forward for both as a manager and as a caring, compassionate and sensitive human being. I will miss working with her if/when she leaves Fire and Emergency.
