   BMZ funded Project: Improved resilience through food and nutrition security (LANN+) approach in district Muzaffargarh of South Punjab Pakistan 1. Supported in development of project documents (modalities, DIP, procurement plan and implementation strategies) with project program team and partner organizations2. Effectively engaged in budget planning, forecasting with project finance and logistic team also supported by formation of BoQs, specifications of items in IFT/RFQ of proposed inputs3. Participation in bids opening, evaluation and assessment of required inputs as per standard operating procedures and RAC rules 4. Execution of on-farm and off-farm activities by following detailed implementation plan and project modalities such as established of plan nurseries, wheat, fodder, pulses, vegetable gardens, fodder plot, wild plant study, communal WASH activities and livelihood skill trainings for men & women after market study using KII/FGDs5. Land Rehabilitation, reclamation using different machinery, chemicals, and biological inputs with collaboration of academia and district line departments6. Established farmer field school (FFS) on climate smart agriculture, efficient water management, integrated pest management, homestead gardens in collaboration of United Nations FAO (UN-FAO) team and delivery of trainings on regularly following project document 7. Executed nutrition related activities of the project such as minimum dietary diversity for women, screening of malnourished children, BCC strategy designing and execution, diet of pregnant and lactating women and adolescent girls of the project area through awareness rising with IRMNCH department8. Coordination with department for project activities and MoU signed among livestock department & Bahauddin Zakaria University Multan for mutual collaboration on wild plant study in drought prone areas of the project 9.
