  -Receive photo requirement list from the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor, then assign photographers base on their level of expertise.-Shoot advanced photo assignments.-Provide critiques and training for photographers, as well as inviting guest speakers to share their experience in the photo industry.-Also serve as a guest speaker to the department's basic, advanced photography and photojournalism classes.-Assist the professor with the new equipment and help students in these classes.

  I served as the first photo intern of the newspaper. Duties included:-Shoot a variety of photo assignments from portraits, sports and events.-Find photo story ideas and work on them on a highly self-motivated attitude.-Also served as a general assignment reporter when needed. My photos and stories were featured on the AP Exchange network. I also did a freelance job for Connecticut College by taking photos of two students interning at a summer camp in La Plant, S.D.
