• Brought some of the largest healthcare systems in the US live on Epic’s electronic medical record (EMR) software. This included closely working with these organizations and their staff daily, understanding their workflows, translating those into the Epic software, and training users and analysts. Organizations included Mayo Clinic (MN), Northwestern Medicine (IL), Montefiore (NY), Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (CA), HealthPartners (MN), Columbus Regional Health (IN), Guthrie (PA), Mary Washington (VA), Saint Luke’s Health System (MO), and Shannon Health (TX) among others. • Managed the implementation of Epic’s Admission, Discharge, and Transfer software at the above healthcare organizations both remotely and on site. Individualization of the software for the organizations required, knowledge of the industry, software, and policies/procedures of the installing healthcare organization. • Practiced project management skills daily by managing operational analysts, reaching out to organizational contacts for information/feedback, making sure tasks were being completed in a timely fashion by analysts and fellow project managers, looking ahead to coming deadlines and implementation phases, as well as communicating progress & issues to organizational leadership, including executive level staff. • Maintained regular face-to-face, phone, and email contact with Nursing Managers and House Supervisors, Bed Planning, Transport, and Environmental Services Managers, Registration Managers, as well as fellow implementation team members, health system analysts, and overall project directors/leadership. • Balanced multiple projects at any given time and was rarely dedicated to just one organization. • Traveled multiple weeks out of each month to work with customer analysts and conduct presentations Show less
