Within minutes of meeting Tanja, she gets what you are about. Some people have it, some people don’t. She is everything you want in a career development mentor and more. Without much effort, she is able to help you figure out what it is you are good at and passionate about. Perhaps her strongest attribute is that she handles every one of your job search initiatives with the right amount of excitement and realistic expectations (however many that may be)! Her process allows you to achieve reachable goals while still shooting for the stars. That, she’s got down! A ten minute meeting with Tanja is like going to therapy but you’ll leave with a job. It is rare to find a person who is as approachable and at the same time professional. Tanja delivers results because she’s one you can count on professionally as well as outside of school/work. It is impressive how she continues to improve herself while she’s helping you (and is truly modest about it)! I only found out she finished her Ph.D. after leaving her office one day! Whatever a career coach and friend need to have, she’s got!

I worked with Tanja on a University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business project for the Suits Institute, her project responsibility was as Owner’s Representative. She was responsible for developing Suitts’s segment of the program plan and worked with Suitt’s staff to gather data, and provide decisions in a timely manner; and during construction, she assisted in monitoring construction progress and approved changes orders as necessary. Tanja was extremely detail oriented, and her participation was vital in completing the project on time and under budget.
