In this job role, it requires a high standard of computing skills, organisation skills, time keeping and being able to work in a fast-paced environment. Independence is key as my role is to keep on top of the West Midlands and Wales area. Day-to-day I answer emails and calls from clients and candidates, arrange interviews and start dates for them and then relay any extra information about the job role and interview. Using our online system (Vincere) to keep on top of all clients, candidates and colleges. I have to ensure candidates are doing timesheets and submitting them correctly. Calling up colleges daily to see if there are any vacancies that they need help filling and if they do, I will work on that. This whole process I will have to go over 3⁄4 times each day so I am very thorough with my work. I find it really rewarding helping people look for their perfect jobs and seeing who would be best suitable for them. I am motivated by seeing myself progress and achieve goals that are set for me. Whilst I do quite a lot of independent work, I also enjoy being part of the team and in the office environment. I feel I can adapt to change extremely well and I can learn quickly and produce top results. As I am looking after the West Midlands and Wales area this does mean I have to make sure I am on top of everything and I am using my initiative to look forward and prepare to my advantage Show less

At Mitchell and Webber my job role requires a lot of administrative and organisational skills. In day-to-day life in the office, I need to prioritise my time to checking emails and answering phone calls in a timely manner and with the upmost professionalism. In the morning it is my job to check the answer phone messages and ensure that clients get a call back from us in the morning, I also need to ensure I am on top of the emails that are coming in and send out quotes to try and establish new relationships with potential new clients. I have to have excellent literacy skills for this as the first impression I give is the most important. If there are any website order, I have to ’price’ the order and then place it, this requires full attention as if any orders are missed or not completed then it will mean clients are not receiving their orders which can then lead to complaints. We also are in charge of 3 rd party company orders and have to insure we are completing those as well. Throughout the day we have a new list of new customers and we have to go through each of their profiles to ensure all spelling is correct and that there are no mistakes on their record forms. We have big contractors that we work with and each week they have weekly top ups, so we need to ensure they are priced correctly each week. Show less

The role involves a lot of customer service, answering the phone to service users, their families, NHS and Cornwall Council. Day to day consists of using our system which is a logging and out system for our carers so they can log when they get to a service users house; I ensure they have logged in properly and on time. With 100+ and growing service users this is very repetitive and time-consuming job. I answer emails e.g., new care packages from the council or NHS, carers (this includes enrolling them and training so a mix of HR) and service users. Each time we employ a new carer I will have to carry out a DBS check using Civil and Corporate. On a weekly basis I will do mileage expenses for our carers so they can claim back their mileage from each service users visit; I do this on excel on a spreadsheet and using the CM200. At the end of every month the invoices go out to the service users, so I will have to take calls for payments from service users, pay in cheques and cash at the beginning of each month. In my role I’m in charge of all filing which is the likes of creating care plans for service users, creating files for each carer, filing away daily notes and any hard copies of emails regarding service users; filing has to be done every month and every care plan must have a daily record review as it is a live situation all the time with each service user and in case or any changes. Filing of course must be up to the CQC standards. Lastly, I do all of the supplies orders, this can range from PPE doe our staff to office supplies. Show less
