Helping with COVID-19 check-ins, federal election and providing supports to citizens in the community under Member of Parliament Kamal Khera. Youth Council Member for Member of Parliament Kamal Khera for Brampton West. Discussing and raising awareness on topics at a Federal level. Issues and actions on climate change, diversity and missing and murdered Indigenous women are impacted greatly in our society. One of our projects this year, is to serve and help make a difference for Indigenous women. The youth are the next generation and this council will allow leaders like myself to help bring a change for the future and make a difference in our communities. As once said by Mahatma Gandhi, “If we are to reach real peace in this world… we shall have to begin with children.” This shows how the future is up to our hands, as youth in our communities. This council aids the right tools needed to serve the people in our community and opens discussions on making a positive difference for the present and future of Canada. Show less

Competitive Dancer in styles Lyrical, Jazz, Hip-hop, Ballet/Pointe and Musical Theatre at Synergy Performing Arts Academy. Was skilled in these disciplines and dedicated countless hours to get better as a performer. Learned many essential skills of focus, determination and hard work to shape me as an individual. Competitive Drama Performer at Synergy Performing Arts Academy for both solo monologue pieces and group performances, in various lead roles such as Dorothy from Wizard of Oz and Mitchie from Camp Rock. Worked on learning my skills of becoming the character and portraying them with authenticity and honesty. Won many competitions and worked hard to learn essential public-speaking skills. Musical Theatre/Dance Assistant Teacher for Kinder Theatre/Dance at Synergy Performing Arts Academy. Taught kids aged 3-6 years of age. Taught kids at a competitive level and made sure they were learning and growing through the dance and drama disciplines. Students learned teamwork with other dancers and put on a production at the end for an audience of over 10,000 people. Assisted them on every performance on stage making sure everyone had someone to follow through the dances. Worked on learning how to collaborate and be kind to one another while learning essential teamwork skills to ensure great habits for their futures. Show less
