Youth Council Member for Member of Parliament Kamal Khera for Brampton West. Discussing and raising awareness on topics at a Federal level. Issues and actions on climate change, diversity and missing and murdered Indigenous women are impacted greatly in our society. One of our projects this year, is to serve and help make a difference for Indigenous women. The youth are the next generation and this council will allow leaders like myself to help bring a change for the future and make a difference in our communities. As once said by Mahatma Gandhi, “If we are to reach real peace in this world… we shall have to begin with children.” This shows how the future is up to our hands, as youth in our communities. This council aids the right tools needed to serve the people in our community and opens discussions on making a positive difference for the present and future of Canada. Show less
