As a student intern in the Gender Sexuality and Women's Studies department, I shared ideas for events that we created for students and faculty that were meant to raise awareness in areas such as gender sexuality and women's rights. We spoke about these important issues during meetings and at events, which helped people to become more confident in who they were despite many stigmas. We educated others on mental and sexual health and what rights they have as human beings on and off campus.
