Jon Ye
It took time to understand Tang Ye, and only challenges & complex missions gave the chance. He is not a typical HR professional given his engineering academic background and non-HR experiences such as Finance/IT/Entrepreneur -- what a mix! All happened to HR with "chemical reactions" -- they didn't appear to be of resist to his HR expertise but magically made him thinking/solutioning out of the box. I personally took lots of benefit of this magic when Tang Ye was one of the key TA leaders on IBM team. His leadership style at crucial times differentiated him from managerial leaders. He understands Accountability far beyond Responsibility; he starts with specific goals aiming at a long-term destination; he is the role model that his team would respect and follow; he was a top performer and a well recognized leader at IBM. I would always love to and expect to have future opportunities to work with Tang Ye again.
