Actions and results: --> Identified pattern of student safety concerns, stemming from a lack of equity in treatment from university police.--> Initiated university town hall for students to voice concerns to faculty, staff and university police leadership, in which 90% of students indicated discomfort in interacting with campus police. --> Spearheaded post-town hall workshop aimed at brainstorming solutions to resolve discord and restore peace.
