  I have always had a passion for animals and their well-being therefore, I decided to volunteer for work experience at a veterinary back in my home country (Portugal). I had the opportunity to shadow many vets that used to work at the hospital while they were having their appointments with customers. I learned how to take blood samples and administrate vaccines to dogs and cats. This was a rewarding experience for me as I got to be in close contact with such beautiful creatures.
