  I oversee multiple cardiovascular data abstractors who work remotely from home, ensuring abstraction accuracy through the completion of interrater reliability (IRR) and ongoing education for multiple cardiovascular registries. I monitor the weekly abstraction progress of individual accounts and assist with identifying opportunities for improvement (OFIs) to assist clients with process improvement and improved patient outcomes. Our individual hospital clients are located across the United States and participate in multiple cardiac registries endorsed by the National Cardiac Database Registry (NCDR), the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS), the Society of Vascular Surgeons Vascular Quality Initiative (SVS-VQI), the American Heart Association Get with the Guidelines (AHA-GWTG) programs, and some state specific and county endorsed registries. I facilitate ongoing communication and interpretation of data outcomes with the designated Registry Site Manager (RSM) or identified Participant Contact for each individual client to ensure accurate and comprehensive data collection. I also assist with the on-boarding of new clients to help with the initial set up of remote data abstraction and the logistics involved with the transition from in-house to outsourced data abstraction.
