Responsibilities in this role included many little tedious details, amongst other large scale duties. This included, but are not limited too, maintaining efficient communication with the doctors, contacting patients on a consistent basis. Following and instructing patients on protocols set in place by the doctors for any post operative patient. Having the confidence to assist patients who have questions or difficulties without immediate guidance from a provider, circumstance pending. In charge of rooming patients, creating doctors notes, meeting the requirements given to us by law for each patients safety and privacy. I also managed our Electronic Health System, ExScribe, since this office was orthopedic specialty. I have experience in integration with our PM system, helped develop the work flow within our EHR, and created an efficient and productive way for each of our 11 providers to utilize ExScribe to it's full potential. Another solo role assigned to myself was the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System with examination close into the CMS MACRA reporting for the year of 2017, and 2018 the HR Manager was also tasked with this, and she is a wonderful teammate! Together her and I developed new workflow tasks for the upcoming years of 2019 for the changes and improvement categories. As it stands, this office was an absolutely great development into my career life, taught me how to be an efficient person, prioritize tasks, and be flexible in any setting.
