Serve as a human resources personnel for the Transportation Basic Officer Leadership Course-B (TC BOLC-B), Warrant Officer Basic Course (WOBC), and the Aerial Delivery and Materiel Officer Course (ADMOC); conduct in-processing briefings for all Transportation student officers; compute officers’ pay and coordinate with Defense Military Pay Office (DMPO) to ensure officers’ pay dates are accurate; resolve any issues regarding officer pay dates with DMPO; coordinate with the section chief and the branch manager to analyze, process, and publish Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders based on Request for Orders (RFO) provided by Human Resources Command (HRC); analyze any issues pertaining to student duty assignments ; supply and process amendments, diversions, and orders for follow-on-training schools for all Transportation students based on RFOs (Request for Orders) provided by HRC; provide overseas briefings to officers identified for PCS moves to OCONUS (overseas) commands; assist officers with the application process of family members for deferred or concurrent travel; review and interpret Army Regulations, publications, military personnel messages, policy memorandums, and other documents related to Army personnel in order to complete the Performance Work Statement requirements; initiate officers into the Installation Support Modules (ISM) for proper installation clearance of permanent assigned students; schedule officers for final out-processing appointments prior to permanent change of station; conduct quality assurance checks with installation agencies to ensure officers have cleared all installations prior to their final-out appointments; make recommendations to policies and procedure changes in the section to improve performance; process personnel actions for BOLC-B officers including name changes and Army Married Couples Program; maintain and update databases in the Personnel Services Branch section for quality assurance; train and guide new employees.
