As Delta’s human resource specialist, Tami Bubb plans, directs, and coordinates the human resource activities within the organization. She manages and administers Delta’s employee benefit programs, along with the 401(k) plan, the Employee Stock Ownership Plan program. She provides leadership in creating new personnel policies, enhances existing policies, and ensures that all policies meet regulatory compliance. Tami manages Delta’s comprehensive orientation and professional development programs. She engages new employees in a thorough training session that integrates them into Delta’s corporate culture. By providing the appropriate tools and resources, Tami prepares new employees to quickly become effective, contributing members of the Delta team. Leading the professional development program, Tami encourages and promotes professional self-growth for each team member. By providing information about a wide variety of seminars, conferences, certifications, and degree programs, she is able to present opportunities for employees to participate in training. Tami also contributes to Delta’s continuous, comprehensive recruiting efforts by identifying quality candidates who add skill, value, and diversity to the Delta team. Her resourcefulness in accessing numerous avenues for recruitment yields Delta a wide range of prospective, skillful employees who are experts in their respective fields. Tami monitors Delta’s compliance with mandatory federal and state lobbying regulations. She serves as assistant secretary to the Delta Development Group, Inc., Board of Directors. Tami Bubb earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Lock Haven University and a Master of Human Resource Management from Saint Francis University. Tami has earned the designation of Professional in Human Resources from the Society of Human Resource Management. She is also a member of the Human Resource Professionals of Central Pennsylvania, a locally based Pennsylvania affiliate.
