  Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Duties and Responsibilities --------------------------------------- - To thoroughly understand the framework of Underwriting Principles, guidelines, Policies and Procedures. - To operationally implement the underwriting standards in the execution of daily work. - To ensure that all Underwriting operations are executed within the underwriting license/authority limits assigned. - To maintain accuracy and transparency in the underwriting operations under direct access and… Show more Duties and Responsibilities --------------------------------------- - To thoroughly understand the framework of Underwriting Principles, guidelines, Policies and Procedures. - To operationally implement the underwriting standards in the execution of daily work. - To ensure that all Underwriting operations are executed within the underwriting license/authority limits assigned. - To maintain accuracy and transparency in the underwriting operations under direct access and control. - To process quotations, endorsements, certificates, renewal notices etc. within the defined service level agreements including appropriate premium accounting and reinsurance allocation of policies/endorsements being issued. - To review/analyze business prospects, identify profitable business opportunities,exercise prudence in avoiding high risk - low profit margins business in underwriting business. - Assume overall responsibility for handling inward facultative accounts including acceptance of risk and tracking of existing inward account. - To effectively coordinate with the Customer Service on the delivery of quotations/dispatch of policies. - To proactively interact with clients/customers, attend to their queries, problems or business requirements and offer appropriate solutions. - Persistently strive to meet underwriting business targets as defined by the Company Management. - Maintain accurate records of documents generated in the process of underwriting business ensuring easy reference to data, control documents and confidentiality of information. - To prepare / generate appropriate reports for Management review as required within set time limits. - To co-operatively work in a team environment to meet departmental goals and objectives. - Act as a reliever to other departmental staff whilst on annual / sick leaves as may be necessary. - Comply with Quality Standards and Turn Around Time.
