As the network administrator for the Hawthorne Public School district, I have many responsibilities both from a technical perspective, as well as and administrative / managerial perspective in relation to the entire technology department and technology makeup of the school district. Serving in this role, I work side-by-side with the director of technology as well as numerous other school administrators to design, develop, implement, manage and maintain technology systems and equipment. I also actively participate in conversations that relate to the goals and visions of the district as they relate to the technology realm. I strongly believe and practice what I call the five P’s (Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance) and live by this model in all aspects of my role. With this model, I believe the staff and projects I oversee achieve a higher level of success across all metrics. It’s with this that I am able to work with various people from students, staff, administrators, and community leaders to bring state of the art technology into the classroom.

After studying sound and computer technologies since I was a kid, I finally decided to go full force in my learning endeavors when I opened Gear Studios Inc. with my fellow partners. We are a multimedia company focusing on individual to small-mid size businesses. Our services range from audio and video recording and editing to website design, SEO, internet and social media marketing. Being that I have mastered the biggest techniques and technologies in the industries I always leave my clients happy, and with a promise that if I don’t know it, I’ll learn it.
