      Tamara was delighted to be announced to be apart of the St Hilda’s prefect for 2019. Her offical role was the Arts prefect, alongside Kate Johnson.In their role, we organised events such as Showquest, arts items every week, arts assemblies once a term and the first house singing in 100 years.This was a fantastic leadership opportunity, and although high pressure at times, it paid off when she saw the end product of increased appreciation of the arts.

As well as receiving top all-round student award at year 11 level, top year 12 academic and a general academic excellence award (have received since year 8). There participants are mentored by host companies and work through 2 challenges focused on product innovation and market entry strategy. The year Tamara was involved, her team ‘Asia NZ’ won both challenges, being the first team to do so in the history of this weekend.
