Tamara cares deeply about kids and wants to share the love of math and life-long learning with her students. Through her work with Sisterhood, Key Club, Community Visions, and AVID Tamara has done so much to inspire students to want to be well-rounded caring people. I was very fortunate to have Tamara has a colleague and it is a great loss for Smoky Hill High School now that Tamara has moved on to work with the DoDEA.

Ms. Gaffney was a Math and AVID teacher while I attended Smoky Hill High School. I was one of her Math students during my sophomore year. Also, she sponsored a club that I participated in my sophomore and junior year. Ms. Gaffney left our school after my junior year and started working in DoDEA schools. She is a great teacher and mentor, and an amazing person.
