I've been working with Tamara for a number of years. Tamara's grip on politics and policy is equal to her unswerving passion for human rights, expressed through her working with the government to ensure fair treatment, representation, transparency of operation and pay parity for all those who work in the fashion industry, while also being intent of Britain building the the best fashion industry it can have. Tamara has an extraordinarily impressive network, both political and fashion, which made her a key player in the discussions between the government and British designers over making PPE, and makes her the ideal person to lobby parliament for the best Brexit deal for the industry. Additionally, the events that Fashion Roundtable organise - several or which I've been to - are second to none for the depth and breadth of ideas discussed.

As a Parliamentary Researcher, I specialised in supporting the creative industries in education, health policy, as well as conducting more general policy research. I gained experience in political communication, health policy, creative sector policy, office management and developed a strong understanding of the UK Parliament and the institutions within it. Introduced key members of the fashion industry into politics. Organised roundtables which were attended by senior Government ministers, political advisers, Cross Party, Labour and Conservative MPs and Peers and key stakeholders. I organised the first cross APPG event, bringing together over 10 creative and cultural sector APPGs for a parliamentary event, where speakers included the The Children’s Laureate, Lord Howath of Newport and the Leader of the Opposition.
