Tamara is a born leader! She comes in and tackles any and ever task given to her. What I admire most about Tamara is her ability to objectively look at a challenge or situation and provide feedback that will help solve or better a process. Having had the opportunity of working with Tamara as a colleague as well as reporting to her during her time as interim, I learned a great deal. Even during times of uncertainty and change Tamara's ability to provide reassurance and support helped stabilized and maintain the team. She really is an invaluable asset to any team.

Tamara's no-nonsense, professional approach to Student Affairs was a breath of fresh air. All the while, she has a vested interest in the success of her students; this is evidenced through the bonds she's created with students, both inside and outside of the division. She is a wonderful colleague, educator, and mentor whose solution-based thinking causes her to shine, wherever she goes.
