I met Tamara back in 2016, when we were both based in Vietnam. After learning of her experience in both project and program management: I hired her as a consultant to help guide me through a few areas within my role as a Branding and Communications Manager at L’Oreal. I was working for the number 1 beauty company in the world: it was my first job abroad and it was a very challenging period for me. Tamara helped me a lot, mostly in getting acclimated to my role. First, she gave me tips on how I can be more organised in my daily tasks, as well as how to be productive when I have many projects to handle at the same time. Another time she helped me, was in project management: she helped guide me with creating a work flow for both internal and external international events I had to organise. Tamara has a strong understanding on how to prioritise projects from brainstorming, organisation and execution. She knows how to handle multiple projects, while ensuring the work flow and process remains smooth. She also gave me a lot of pointers on how to break down complex processes, while keeping my clients in mind, to make it easier to work through. She gave me a lot confidence during this period, I’ll be forever grateful for her help. I highly recommend her for any project or program management, along with customer relations role she wishes to apply for.

I am excited to write this recommendation for Tamara. I’ve only known Tamara for a short time, however her enthusiasm, professionalism and dedication to her field has astonished me, which makes it easy for me to write this recommendation. She would be well suited in any analyst position. Tamara works hard, and shows dedication by always asking questions and pushing herself to find solutions to any problems or roadblocks. Her skillset includes analyzing client issues, identifying solutions to close the account, getting the proper entities paid. She has strong leadership shown through delegating account ownership, and independently maintaining and documenting account trends on multiple datasets and reports. Based on my observations, I believe Tamara is capable of pursuing similar positions with any company and perform excellently.

Managed roughly $7M on data labeling projects that resulted in improved ML training and measurement. Overhauled label quality processes, which in turn both stabilized and streamlined historical programs from failing to producing optimal results, that also aided in launching related projects/programs. Identified and implemented efficiencies both through budget, labor, and production, saving the program over $3.9M. -Spearheaded program efficiency gains through reducing labor demands by 79% for FY' 2023 -Transformed label quality effectiveness through a program overhaul, overseeing training and development with vendor partners, and stabilizing data and insights--resulting in a cost savings of $3.9M -Spun-up a supporting project, exceeding over 90% label quality, while operating on reduced budget and headcount -Partnered with product teams and other cross-functional partners (global operations, vendor partners, etc.) through data and insights, powering machine learning and AI in product development -Maintained and presented data analytics for product team's assessment to determine project effectiveness, along with making recommendations. Contributed to product roadmaps and and process to scale -Launched ad-hoc projects to determine current status for label quality, guideline revisions, training, and potential process efficiencies Show less

As the Credentials & Compliance point of contact, I managed the credentialing process for both new and current members for a private physician network within the hospital. This lead to the optimization of the process as whole, by streamlining verifications and reducing complexities within the application; ultimately resulting in an increase of revenues for the network. Other sources of impact include:• Restructured submissions of healthcare contracts and physician data for enrollment in health plans; resulting in higher reimbursements for the network • Propelled payer credentialing resolutions by creating comprehensive reconciliation reports; leading to a mass reduction in linkage issues and increased revenue Show less

Program Manager, Medical Education Training
-
Dec 2011 - May 2015
As the Training Program Manager for the Division of Cardiology, I had the opportunity to really hone my program and project management skills. I also both realized and thrived in my love for streamlining complex processes. Through this experience, I managed and maintained three clinical training programs and two clinical research programs for the cardiology department. Just some of the ways my work drove impact are as follows: • Shaped the annual on-boarding process for new trainees; helping clients (students) settle into their new environment more efficiently • Negotiated additional resources for the training programs; resulting in sponsored conferences, meetings and educational opportunities for the trainees • Administered two 2-year project timelines from each request for candidates to commencement • Led five quality improvement committees and a program evaluation committee resulting in better training practices • Transformed the training interview process resulting in better hiring policies • Streamlined trainees’ orientation process resulting in better commencement procedures • Optimized a seamless transition to a new accreditation system in 2014 Show less
