      • Jun 2022 - Aug 2022

As a legal intern during the summer of 2022, I assisted one of the criminal defense partners on two of his major cases. This included facilitating and conducting witness interviews, visiting the crime scene with the defendants, taking diligent notes on police body camera footage, and writing summaries for trial preparations. My final project for one of the cases was to write a legal memo which included all of the information I had collected and learned, and draft a letter to the District Attorney detailing arguments for why they should drop the charges against our client. I also helped the employment and civil rights partners by managing the intake process for potential new clients. Show less
