      iGEM is the worlds largest synthetic biology competition which empowers undergraduate students to utilize synthetic biology to solve real-world issues. For the past two years, the UAlberta iGEM team has been working to develop both a treatment and detection system for Nosema ceranae. As VP I handle team operations, act as team manager, and supervise / complete project work inside and outside of the lab. iGEM is the worlds largest synthetic biology competition which empowers undergraduate students to utilize synthetic biology to solve real-world issues.
