Had to work against extremely tight deadlines, and was able to utilize my skills in a professional, and efficient manner, to essentially get the most out of the sponsors contractual rights. These varied from bringing sponsors activations to life, sponsoring national CSR initiatives, press release ceremonies, and being associated with prize winning ceremonies. Working within the Sponsorship and Activation team, and I was mainly responsible for the day to day management of client activation programme and project(s) spanning across, hospitality, marketing, branding, sports and sponsorship. I played a key role in planning, and participating in strategic development, implementations and executions of projects and activations. Alongside the Account Manager, we were managing Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank’s CSR Initiative, the ADIB Future Champions League Football programme; an national competition that reached out to 7 states acrosss the UAE, with over 3000 young players. In addition to this, I was also responsible in managing ADIB’s relationship with the UAE Pro League and Pro League Committee. As ADIB were the main sponsor of the league, I leveraged the contractual rights throughout the footballing season, which varied from a digital and marketing presence, to on-site stadium activations.ADIB FCL witnessed multiple awards within the region. In 2017, FCL won Gold in the Sport Industry Awards Middle East, with the Best CSR Initiative, and Bronze in Best Youth Development project. The following year in 2018, FCL won Silver in the Best CSR Initiative.
