I had the opportunity and the pleasure to work with Tako when she was the Portfolio Manager at Gotham East, and I was the Export Director at Maison Villevert. Tako was responsible for the Maison Villevert portfolio (consisting of G'Vine Gin de France, Nouaison Gin and La Quintinye Vermouth Royal), promoting our brands in the China market. She gave a great contribution to our brand plans, in both strategy and execution. I would highlight her professionalism and devotion organising and assisting our Global Brand Ambassador David Rios on a China tour, significantly leveraging the equity of our brands in multiple geographies across China. The triple digit growth we have experienced in China (from an already solid base) speak per se! Regrettably Tako had to leave Gotham East for health reasons. But I am glad she has fully recovered and took a new role within the beverage industry. I wish the very best to Tako on her career!
