Chung Ho
Tak has the rare combination of technology knowhow and business sense. Our SBU was building a network controller chipset at the time and needed a software platform to make it a complete product. Tak architected the whole middleware platform, implemented it and went out with our sales to land many key design wins. He was extremely creative in quickly assembling a high caliber group of developers and industry partners where there was none. Later, out of his own initiative, he put together a product business proposal for a spinoff, which the company eventually vetoed (a loss to NEC I might add). Thru this process, I found Tak to have great passion and perseverance for the technologies/products he believed in. As a real visionary, Tak will be able to not only come up with new ideas but also carry them into actual products.
