I led a defunct editorial committee to become one of the best-performing committees in PSN-YPG Lagos after one year. The committee launched a bimonthly e-newsletter which catered to the professional needs of almost 2,000 young pharmacists in Lagos. The team also published three magazines: The Catalyst (our annual magazine; maiden edition), Pantheon-X (a compilation of 20 early and mid-career pharmacists who are trailblazers, pacesetters and outliers) and Pharmacophore (a compilation of 10 Nigerian pharmacists who have contributed excellently to global health). I co-chaired SOCHUM at BIMUN'18 conference as the Acting Director/Rapporteur, Social, Cultural and Humanitarian Committee (SOCHUM). BIMUN'18 had in attendance about 500 delegates from different African countries. BIMUN'18 conference, held from July 8—13, 2018 in Babcock University, Nigeria, saw about 500 African delegates engaged in diplomacy, roleplaying and intellectual discussions on topics related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while simulating different committees of the United Nations. The committees included Disarmament and International Security (DISEC), UN Women, International Court of Justice (ICJ) Security Council and Social, Cultural and Humanitarian (SOCHUM) committees. The theme of the 2018 conference was: Addressing Climate Change-induced Conflict: A Roadmap for achieving the Sustainable Development Goal. Thanks to the coordination of the chairs and delegates of SOCHUM, our committee produced the overall best delegate and overall best delegate of honourable mention at the conference. I also co-chaired at BIMUN'19 where I served as Acting Under-Secretary General for Information and Public Information, as well as the Vice-President, United Nations Security Council. At the 3rd session of Babcock International Model United Nations (BIMUN) conference from July 7 —12, 2019 themed 'Innovation as A Pathway to Integration and Development: Challenges of A Dynamic Africa', delegates from about 20 African countries simulated different committees of the UN at the conference. The UNSC deliberated majorly on 'The Urgent Need to Put an End to Yemen’s Humanitarian Crisis' and we had a drafted a resolution at the end of the intense committee sessions. Public speaking, lobbying, facts finding and diplomacy were some of the skills displayed by delegates during the conference. My committee produced the overall best delegate at the conference.
