Randall D. West

I worked closely with Tait for four years as we designed complex systems for an industrial 3D printer from the ground up. Tait is a pleasure to work with and will be a high contributor on any team. He has an amazing ability to find elegant solutions that seem obvious in hindsight but that no one else could see at the time. He has a high mechanical aptitude with an ability to support his designs with sound engineering and analytical problem solving. I came to him for many times for CAD tips and design advice. He is not afraid of hard problems and knows how to iterate quickly to find and validate a solution.

I worked with Tait as his manager during his entire tenure at HP; he is a very talented engineer with notably strong mechanical design skills. Most everything he touches turns to engineering
